This is a seasonal product that can only be dug from our production fields when the tree/plant has gone dormant and the temperatures are correct. We are expecting to be able to start digging these plants from the end of October 2026.
Our Yew Hedging at 4-5ft (120-150cm) is supplied rootballed and ready to establish quickly, making it an excellent choice for creating a dense, long-lasting evergreen hedge. These mature plants provide immediate structure, privacy and year-round interest from the moment they are planted.
Taxus baccata is one of the UK's most trusted evergreen hedging plants, valued for its rich dark green foliage, exceptional longevity and ability to form dense, formal hedges. Its naturally compact growth habit makes it ideal for both traditional and contemporary garden designs.

This size is ideal for creating an established hedge with good initial height, helping to achieve privacy and structure more quickly. It is particularly well suited to property boundaries, formal gardens and screening projects where a premium evergreen finish is required.
Yew responds exceptionally well to clipping and can be maintained as a crisp formal hedge or shaped into softer, more natural forms. It also combines beautifully with other evergreen hedging plants for mixed planting schemes.
For best results, plant approximately 45-60cm apart when creating a hedge and water regularly during the first growing season to encourage strong root establishment. Once established, Yew is hardy, low maintenance and provides outstanding year-round coverage for decades.
