Collect Your Plants Free of Charge from Our Surrey Nursery
We're always happy for customers to collect their orders directly from our nursery in Tilford, near Farnham in Surrey. There's no charge for collection and it gives you the chance to save on delivery costs, meet the team, ask questions face to face and take your plants home the same day.
As growers, every plant in your order is checked by our team to ensure it is in the best possible condition. As third generation nurserymen, we know a good plant when we see it and that is what you will get.
How Click & Collect Works
Getting your order ready for collection is straightforward. Simply browse our full range of hedging plants, trees, topiary and shrubs on our website and place your order as normal. When you reach the checkout, select Collection as your delivery method and your order total will reflect the free collection.
We Grow What We Sell
Unlike many online retailers who aren’t actually nurseries, we grow the vast majority of our stock right here at our nursery. This means you're getting plants that have been nurtured from the start. We select and lift your plants fresh from our fields or beds, ensuring they arrive in peak condition and are ready to thrive in their new home.

Where are you located and when can I collect?
Our nursery is at C.G.J. Mathias & Son Nurseries, Tilford, Nr Farnham, Surrey, GU10 2BH. Collection is available Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm. We are closed on weekends and bank holidays. Please note that our nursery is a busy commercial growing site with regular vehicle and machinery movements, so we do ask that all collections are arranged in advance. Please don't visit without a confirmed time - when you arrive, a member of our team will meet you and help load your order safely.
Will my plants fit in my car?
Hedging plants can be bulkier than you might expect, particularly the larger sizes. If you're unsure whether your order will fit, just mention it when we call to arrange collection and we'll give you an honest steer on the space you'll need. For bigger orders, a van, trailer or estate car with the seats down is usually the way to go.
Can someone else collect on my behalf?
Absolutely. Just let us know the name of the person collecting when we arrange your pick up and ask them to bring a copy of the order confirmation.
Is there a minimum order for Click & Collect?
No minimum at all. Whether it's a handful of small plants or several hundred metres of laurel hedging, you're welcome to collect orders of any size.
Do you offer delivery as well?
