This is a seasonal product that can only be dug from our production fields when the tree/plant has gone dormant and the temperatures are correct. We are expecting this item to be available from mid October 2025.
Create an instant, tall hedge with these mature Carpinus betulus plants, perfect for immediate eye-level privacy. Each tree is 10-11ft tall from the root ball and has been regularly trimmed to form a dense, effective screen. They’ll continue to fill out in the next growing season.

Hornbeam trees are well suited to heavier soils but if you are planting during the drier months of the year, it is important to water them properly during their first year after planting. This is best done using leaky hose which is cheap, easy to install and highly effective. See our Accessories page for more details.
