This is a seasonal product that can only be dug from our production fields when the tree/plant has gone dormant and the temperatures are correct. We are expecting to be able to start digging these plants from the end of October 2026.
Our Yew Hedging at 2.5-3ft (80-100cm) is supplied rootballed and ready to establish quickly, making it an excellent choice for creating a dense, formal evergreen hedge. These well-grown plants offer strong structure, reliable coverage and year-round interest from planting.
Taxus baccata is a classic UK native evergreen hedging plant, valued for its deep green foliage, longevity and ability to form tight, controlled hedges. Its fine needles and dense growth make it ideal for both traditional and modern garden designs.

This smaller rootballed size is ideal for establishing a premium hedge from a lower starting height, allowing strong long-term structure and even growth. It is particularly well suited to formal gardens, pathways and boundary planting where a neat, architectural finish is required.
Yew is highly versatile and responds extremely well to clipping, making it perfect for crisp formal hedges or softer, more natural shapes. It can also be combined with other evergreen hedging plants for mixed planting schemes.
For best results, plant approximately 45-60cm apart and water regularly during the first growing season to support establishment. Once established, Yew is hardy, low maintenance and extremely long-lived.
