Shrubs

In addition to our wide range of hedging plants in all sizes and varieties, we also offer a carefully selected range of garden shrubs that make valuable additions to planting schemes. Many of these shrubs are striking specimen plants in their own right, and some also work well as informal or alternative hedging options.

For example, Griselinia and Elaeagnus are excellent choices for coastal gardens, thanks to their salt tolerance. Aucuba (commonly known as spotted laurel) – though not a true laurel – is ideal for shaded areas and creates a vibrant, low hedge that holds its colour year-round. Lavender can be grown individually or as a row to form a fragrant, flowering hedge with striking blue and purple blooms.
