Hydrangea Annabelle

It's full Latin name is Hydrangea arborescens 'Annabelle' however it is commonly simply referred to as just Hydrangea Annabelle.

Generally, we have different pot sizes available at different times of the year.  Please note that at certain times of the year, we cut our Hydrangeas back to encourage stronger stems and more flowering.  This may mean that the plant you buy will not have flowers on it at the time of purchase, but rest assured that any pruning back carried out here on the nursery is to create a better plant overall.  If you would like to know about whether they have been cut back before purchase, please ring us and we will happily advise you.

Known for its large, globe-shaped blooms, this deciduous shrub produces masses of creamy white flowers from mid-summer through to early autumn.  Each Annabelle Hydrangea plant is supplied in a generous 5-litre pot, offering you a well-established plant ready to thrive in your garden. 

Perfect for planting in mixed shrub borders, as a feature plant, or even in large containers, Hydrangea ‘Annabelle’ brings reliable beauty year after year. Annabelle Hydrangeas thrive best in partial shade, though they can also tolerate full sun if the soil is kept consistently moist. They are adaptable to a range of soil types, but perform best in well drained soil that is rich in organic matter.
