For instant, impressive screening, these large Carpinus betulus hedging trees deliver immediate privacy and impact. Each mature tree stands 13-14ft tall from the top of the root ball and has been regularly trimmed to create dense, thick hedging.

Hornbeam trees are well suited to heavier soils but if you are planting during the drier months of the year, it is important to water them properly during their first year after planting.
