Spindle Hedging 60-100cm Bare-Root
Pre-order information
This is a seasonal product that can only be dug from our production fields when the tree/plant has gone dormant and the temperatures are correct. We are expecting to be able to start digging these plants from the end of October 2025.
Sold in bundles of 25, Spindle (Euonymus europaeus) is a cost-effective way to plant a native hedge. These 60-100cm tall, bare-root plants are dug straight from the field and should be planted immediately to avoid root damage.
Key Benefits:
-
Native & Hardy: A popular hedgerow shrub in the UK, Spindle thrives on chalky soils and adds vibrant color to your hedge.
-

-
Unique Fruit: Produces distinctive pink fruits, resembling popcorn, after flowering in May/June.
-
Wildlife-Friendly: Ideal for mixed-species hedges, providing shelter and food for birds and insects.
Planting & Care:
