About Spindle:
A familiar deciduous native shrub, Spindle thrives especially well on chalky soils. It features shiny, slightly waxy green leaves that turn a rich orangey-red in autumn before falling. In late spring (May/June), it produces delicate flowers followed by unique pink fruits that resemble popcorn.
