Golden Irish Yew (Taxus baccata Fastigiata Standishii) 100-120cm Rootballed
These golden fastigiate Taxus, Irish Yew are a golden variety known as 'Standishii' trees make excellent specimens to be used either individually or planted in pairs or triples as features. They are a slow growing upright columnar Yew and are currently all between 100-120cm (3.5-4ft) in height and come rootballed which is to say that they are dug out of our production fields with a ball of soil around their roots wrapped in hessian.
Please note that these are not suitable for hedging as they are very slow growing and grow in an upright habit rather than bushing out to form a hedge.
They should be planted with general purpose planting compost to give them the best start after planting. See our accessories page for additional products to give these plants the very best chance of successful establishment, planting compost, fertiliser, rootgrow and bark mulch.
