Purple Hazel Rote Zellernus Multistem Root Balled 120cm

These are good solid examples of the Purple Hazel variety Rote Zellernus (Corylus avellana 'Rote Zellernus') and are good all rounder trees for planting schemes with their purple leaf colour adding a striking addition to any garden. Carefully prepare the planting hole using planting compost and keep it well watered during its first season of growth.

These all measure at least 120cm from the top of the rootball.  Being rootballed, they will need to be planted fairly quickly after receiving them and are only available during the colder months of the year when they are dormant.

These trees all come as root balls, that is to say they are dug straight from the ground with a ball of soil around their roots wrapped up in hessian.  They should be planted with the hessian left on them as this will quickly rot away and new root growth can easily push through the hessian for establishment.
