This is a seasonal product that can only be dug from our production fields when the tree/plant has gone dormant and the temperatures are correct. We are expecting this item to be available from mid October 2025.
Create an instant, tall hedge for immediate eye-level privacy with these mature Hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) plants. Each tree is 11-12ft high, regularly trimmed to form a dense screen that will continue to fill out over the next growing season.

Hornbeam trees are well suited to heavier soils but if you are planting during the drier months of the year, it is important to water them properly during their first year after planting. This is best done using leaky hose which is cheap, easy to install and highly effective. See our Accessories page for more details.
