This is a seasonal product that can only be dug from our production fields when the tree/plant has gone dormant and the temperatures are correct. We are expecting this item to be available from mid October 2025.
Create immediate eye-level privacy with these mature 7-8ft (210-240cm) hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) hedge plants. Carefully root balled in the field with plenty of soil and wrapped in hessian, they offer excellent value and an instant dense screen.

Hornbeam trees are well suited to heavier soils but if you are planting during the drier months of the year, it is important to water them properly during their first year after planting. This is best done using leaky hose which is cheap, easy to install and highly effective. See our Accessories page for more details.
